On November 3, 2007, Guo Pei presents her Haute Couture show “An amazing journey in a childhood dream” for the China International Fahion Week. She wins the ‘Best dress design award’. Adopting a child perspective, Guo Pei tells us a fairy tale rythmed by fantastic feelings.
The “Spanish empire period” is the second source of inspiration Guo Pei uses for this collection. From vintage and lovely origami craftsmanship, she creates fabric. With candy colors like pink, blue and yellow, she crafts a fairytale of sweetness, romance, mystery and luxury.
